FOUR FEATURES OF THE GALAXY S5 WILL MISS THE GALAXY S6
The Samsung Galaxy Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are elegant, the powerful S6 Edge that can be counted as one of the best smartphones in the world. However, some features we liked on the S5 are no longer present.
MICROSD CARD SLOT
Galaxy s6, Galaxy s6 Edge
Not all of us put a microSD card to our phones, but having the ability to add up to 128GB of additional storage to save photos, music or videos as was the case with the Galaxy S5, was a great advantage.
The company said they took this decision because after different studies, they found that most users used only between 23GB and 25GB of storage and many opted for versions with more than 16GB.
BACKSIDE RESISTANT TO FINGERPRINTS
The galaxy S5 was great at reducing the fingerprint marks that people hate so much with its faux leather back. Today, however, the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge come with fingerprint magnates. Sure, no one would like to replace a glass or metallic body with a plastic but they would have at least been able to do something on this.
Have you once ended up with dead phones because they fell into the toilet or bath? The Galaxy S5 could dive up to 1 meter for 30 minutes and you would still be able to hold out until more depth (have not been tested).
If you drop the Galaxy Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge in your bath, toilet or other places with water, then you are just taking chances. These phones are not waterproof. Full stop.
I have to admit that for me is not going to be a big change, but I know some people have more than one battery to extend the life of their cell. In the Galaxy S5, the back cover was removable and you had access to the removable battery to change it however you like. Now the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge do not have a removable back cover and the battery is fully integrated, so if you are among those who enjoyed much of this function on your smartphone or the Galaxy S5, will have serious problems with new Galaxy S6.
Sure, its true that Samsung claims that the battery will last longer, but during the presentation, Sammy acknowledged that there are limits to this, since the technology industry still does not allow it at the time.
